Loving Nannies Easy Steps to get started:
1. Sign up by filling out a Family Application .
Fill out the Family
Application or call our office at 800-682-8154 to speak with
a family representative to discuss your unique needs. You will need
to fax the family application back to us with a signature and the
up front fee of $250 to get started.
2.Nannies will begin calling you for a phone interview right away.
Next, you will need to interview candidates. Print
out the Loving Nannies exclusive
Interview Questionnaire to help guide you while conducting your
interviews. Having the interview questions handy will help you feel
confident during the interview process as they have been used effectively
by top nanny recruitment agencies for years. You should also use
the Loving Nannies orientation
form to make sure you've gone over all important factors regarding
your new nannies position. Remember that you will also be responsible
for obtaining and verifying all personal and professional references,
even though we pre-screen and reference check all candidates referred.
Talking parent to parent can be very helpful in determining whether
a given nanny is a good fit!
3. Make a conditional offer for employment:
After you've decided on a particular nanny, it is time to make a
conditional job offer. Contact us by phone to let us know which
nanny you would like to make a job offer to. Keep in mind that all
formal offers should be in writing and pending a successful background
check. As a guide, be sure to use or review the Conditional
Offer Form for best results. All initial employment should
be probationary for the first 30 days to be sure you and your candidate
are happy with the placement. Once your conditional offer is accepted
by the nanny candidate, the final payment will be charged to your
credit card. This includes the cost of one background check.
4. You will receive the nannies background investigation: The
Loving Nannies fee includes 1 background check. We will perform
a Social Security Number Trace, a Residency Search, a Criminal Records
Search in up to 2 main counties the nanny has resided in the longest,
and a Department of Motor Vehicles Search (to make sure the nanny
has never had a DUI or extensive tickets or accidents). Additional
background searches, such as Trustline, may already be in process
and take longer to get back.
5. YOUR NANNY IS HIRED!
Loving Nannies Comparison:
Most Nanny Agencies charge 1 months salary or $3,000-$4,000
upon hire. Also, most only give you a 3 month guarantee.
