Loving Nannies has one of the largest databases in San Diego of fully screened, background checked babysitters and nannies. All of our babysitters have been interviewed in-person, have excellent references, current CPR & First Aid and a thorough background check completed before hire.
We offer a few different programs depending on what your needs are.
Babysitting Membership-On-Going Babysitting Services
Our program allows you to hire a qualified babysitter for a flat fee. This is for families who are in need of a regular babysitter or nanny 10 hrs week or less and want to use the same person each time. All of our babysitters are actually our very qualified loving nannies that are looking for extra hours to supplement their income. In addition to the main babysitter that you choose, we will supply you a list of up to three back up babysitters to call.
For example: A family needs a babysitter Monday & Wednesdays from 6pm-10pm, every week, longterm.
Program costs: $2,000 (not including the $250 application fee fee) and $25-$35/hr to the nanny/babysitter that is hired. The nanny/babysitter usually requests a 4 hour minimum.
Includes background check (SS# verification check, National criminal and sex offender search, county criminal searches and DMV report) and 1 Year Guarantee.
One Time Babysitting Service
Loving Nannies will search our database of babysitters and nannies to find you someone for the occasion. Whether it is last minute or a planned event, we will carefully match you up with one of our qualified babysitters. You pay us our referral fee and then you pay the nanny directly when the job is completed.
Service costs: $50 fee per day plus minimum $25-$35/hr to the babysitter. Includes background check (SS# verification check, National criminal and sex offender search, county criminal searches and DMV report). The price to the babysitter depends on how many children will be cared for as well as what duties are expected and how many hours you will need. We do have a minimum of 4 hours. If you are using the babysitter for a function or event, we allow 1 babysitter per 3-4 children.
*Currently we are only offering our Babysitting Membership, which provides the family with one main babysitter whom they may use on a more regular basis (up to 10 hours per week) and up to three back-up babysitters.
Temporary Nannies
For temporary services (vacation nannies, short term and last minute nannies) Loving Nannies charges a flat referral rate of $50 day (based on a 12 hour day). Our nannies request $25-$35/hr depending on different factors, such as how many children will be cared for, job duties and how many hours are needed. Please call us if you will be using a temporary nanny for more than 2 weeks and we will be happy to give you a flat rate quote based on your individual needs.
*Currently we are only placing nannies for one month or longer.
